Need help!

My big brooder is a "Travelin' Tot" play pen. They get plenty of ventilation, I can see them from all sides and it's plenty big enough. It was really cheap, cause I got it at a yard sale (3.00) and I've used it for two hatches now. (I disinfect between uses). I haven't had any trouble with pecking issues. Just a suggestion as to what you could use for brooders if need be.

Tried to introduce another chick with the two victims today. It walked up to the first one pecked at its wound and then went and peck at the others wound, Blue Kote and all??? Decided to wait a few more days since I'll be camping with the Scouts this weekend. My wife can check on them from time to time this weekend, but I feel they are going to require some close supervision til sure everything is copasetic.

I was dealing with the agressor, of course, but I would stick her back into the flock for a few minutes morning and evening. She would always immediately start pecking eyes again and I would put her back in jail. Finally, one day she just wasn't so agressive about it so I left her in there while I watched. She just did it a few times. The other chicks pecked her back and she stopped. All the chicks peck a little and your chicks, already wounded look different, which makes them more of a target. You may have to keep them segregated until the injuries are completely healed. Are they in an area where they can see and be seen by the rest of the chicks? I think that helps with the reintegration.

I was told Leghorns, I believe they are Sex Links?

Here's a pic of the thugs!
