what breed are these chickens and how do you sex them??? they are 8 wks. old this friday. thanks!

If you are talking about the ones in your profile pic, I don't know the breed, but looks like 2-3 are definately roo's.

How do you tell the roosters???

Much bigger combs and wattles than the rest and they are bright red. Pullets will stay pink until POL, usually 16-20+ weeks of age. My pullets didn't start growing combs and wattles until about 16 weeks. My cockerel on the otherhand has huge, bright red comb and wattles at that age.

Keep reading posts on here. You will learn A LOT!!. I also read "Raising Chickens for Dumbies" twice before I got my kids this May. This is my first time with chickens. So addicting and fun.

I also see a couple of roosters. What's that they're in, a tractor? Do you have a coop also?

Yes, it is a tractor chicken coop, works very nice..
