Need Help!

Can you tell a chick's gender by how many layers of wing feathers it has? The person that sold me the chicks said you can. I personally don't believe him.

! I have heard that as well and it may be true at a certain age. Personally, I don't trust myself to do it. If you have some pics of your chicks you might post them in the link below - maybe someone in that thread can help you ID the gender. Good luck to you!

. I know some breeds can be feathered sex at a young age but I've never heard of the other method.
 
I thought of that. I don't think they would fight every second of every day. They are very noisy fighters.
