Need help!

I am unsure what is wrong with my pullet. Both eyes started out swollen. I read that I should put triple antibiotics on it 3 times per day. I did and one eye became less swollen while the other became more swollen. The more swollen eye is swollen shut. I don't know what to do!

Welcome to BYC. Swollen eyes usually mean a respiratory disease in chickens. Is there any other symptoms such as watery eyes, nasal drainage, sneeze, wheezing or rattles when breathing, or any bad smell to the head? Diseases such as mycoplasma (CRD) and coryza can cause swollen eyes with some of the other symptoms. Drugs such as Tylan and oxytetracycline can be given for treatment of mycoplasma, and sulfa drugs may be used to treat coryza, but these diseases will make all of your chickens carriers, and can never be totally cured. Can yougivea few more details about the age of the pullet and where she came from?

X2 yes I agree swollen eyes is likely upper respiratory symptoms.as above post suggested look listen and feel for any more symptoms such as wheezing or mucus or cough and sneeze.if you can post a picture it would be very helpful in diagnosis. Corzya does come to mind. Does she have a bad smell about her? Above post explained things very well.if it is a virus such as corzya medication can at times help with symptoms but if it is something of that nature sadly the recovered birds remain carriers and can infect other poultry.please list any more symptoms and post a pic if possible. Sorry I responded so late, but the pullet seems to be doing a lot better. We had been giving it 1 cc of Vet RX by mouth and gave it a shot of Tylan in its breast. The chicken healed greatly over night after the shot. I believe it was a respiratory infection. This pullet was hatched by its mother that I had and I raised it. Thanks so much for the information. It really helped in reviving my sick chick.
