Need Help

I have a duck with yellowish skin around the eyes and they look a little swollen. Also where the feathers are pulled out of the back of her neck from breeding and that skin is also yellow. Anybody have an idea what it could be? The county fair starts next week so I really need to get this cleared up as she is my best female.

Well the feathers won't grow back till after molt. the yellow skin is probably normal. Could the swollen eyes be from over mating if so remove her from the drake so she has a chance to get over it. Do you have any Veterycin spray? best stuff in the world for infections or wounds and safe to spray in the eyes. also Apple cider vinegar in their drinking water so she can dunk her head in it. 1-2 Tab to 1 gal of water.

Definitely sounds like too much attention from the drake. Separate them.
