Coop and run designs are a huge topic. I would spend lots of time reading the articles in the coop section and write down everything you want in your coop then look for a design you like or think about a shed conversion. Good luck and have fun.

Welcome to BYC. There's a ton of stuff on here regarding coops and building them, so have at it. The 'search' button should help lead you to specific information. One piece of advice-- make sure you build both run and coop on higher ground. Mud and muck are to be avoided, if possible. Good luck!
