You have NO RIGHT to judge my training or riding skills until you have met me and my horses in person. I'll have you know in 4-H, Rodeo, and other programs I sit top of my class with my horses, and I have NEVER had a trainer besides my parents. I won't be posting on this thread again. If anyone has any questions, PM me.

Most of the natural horsemanship trainers are good, but it is the same thing as everything else horse. Check one out, see if it makes sense to you and try it out. I happen to like Parelli. Most of his work in done in a round pen, and no you don't have to have a fancy metal round pen, even though they are nice. In fact my round pen is rope fence and heavy step in plastic fence posts, but my horses are very respectful of fence, so it has works well for me.

Do you get RFD TV where you are? If you do several of the Natural Horsemanship trainers have been on there. Parelli and John Lyons both have books that you can buy before buying the tapes and expensive packages. Sometimes posting on a horse forum that you are looking for them will locate older editions that someone might sell.

John Lyons used to put out a magazine too, someone that follows his methods might know if it is still available. I had a huge pile of them, but I sent them to someone else that is on this forum.

Sorry I don't care where you place, your not a good horseperson if your KICKING your horse in the nose!

I have also seen tons of stuff on ebay, tho I would be wary of used DVD's,but the books will be a big help for you.
