Need ideas - Birthday present for Mom

Mom's birthday is in a few weeks and I'm hunting out ideas of what to get her, she's helped me a ton these past few months with my move and when I was struggling for cash and I need a good way to say thanks. She's very much a home person, loving the comforts and usefulless of everyday objects. I would love to get her something hand made where a lot of thought and love has been put into it but I just dont know what, nor do I have a ton to spend still. Any and all ideas would be much appreciated!

How about a rock? No no... not just a rock but a beautiful rock that she could pass on to her grandchildren like an emerald in the matrix or maybe a tourmaline crystal or petrified wood. Seems like everybody has a few rocks. Just an idea, but I hope you like it.
