Thanx Tony I will have to order it b/c no one carries it around here. He seemed to be doing better on the doxycycline for a day then stopped improving. I called Nat today and he told me to get some other medication for enteritis so I'm planning on heading to the pigeon supply tomorrow. I'm hoping that it will work. I don't want to loose him he's a great bird.

Hey Tony...I put him on the pigeon canker stuff that Nat said to get at the pigeon supply and gave it to him 2x a day a day in a capsule down the throat and this morning after 2 treatments was eating and he had solid poop and lots of it !! Only someone with birds would post online and get so excited about solid poo

He seems to be snapping out of it. Also found piperazine 34 at the pigeon supply those pigeon guys have everything! lol

DAC Ronidazole 10% some euro drug. It's for canker but he told me that he experimented with it for a few other conditions like blackhead and it can be used for other protozoa type infections. Interesting link about it http://aem.asm.org/cgi/reprint/22/3/480.pdf After reading that I can see how it might cover quite a few bases at once.

All I know is ivemec doesn't treat gape worm and wazine does.

Just an update... Great news! My impeyan has made a recovery and I put him back outside with his mate yesterday. They are both happy to be w/ each other again!
