Need ideas

I have 6 babies who will need a home in about a mont, hubbie thinks we can build one for @ $200 I have the book building coops for dummies, but the size I would need is more like $8-900
Any suggestions welcomed thanks..

I don’t know what you require either with your climate or how pretty it needs to be. The chickens don’t care but some people do and pretty can be really important in suburbia to keep your neighbors happy.

Climate is really important too. If you live where it is warm enough in the winter, you can maybe build it mostly out of wire and save some serious bucks.

You might look on Craigslist for a building you can move and refurbish. It may take a bit of luck to find one and you have to be able to transport it. Or maybe you can demolish a building and get the materials real cheap or for free?
