Need Info on Comm. Chicken Co-Op coops remember reading about it?

I remember reading somewhere about community chicken coops a type of co-op maybe it was in Oregon or Washington? I tried google and got no where. Any help would be appreciated we are thinking of doing a neighbor hood coop/ farm.

I am interested in this too. A friend of mine in PA has done a small co-op of her own. what she did was have people buy in and pay her five bucks a month that buys the feed and they get a dozen eggs per month. She keeps up the coop. Of course she has a horse training business and all of her Co-Op customers are Students or Parents of students. I dont know how this would work on a Community basis.
