Need info on Silky Ducks

I am getting a pair from Holderreads. The female will be snowy and the male will be white. I know very little about them. I have done a search on the web and can not seem to find much. Are they good setters cause i do not want to try and incubate the eggs unless i have to. I did not have much luck with my call eggs. I think i read somewhere that they can not fly is this true? Do they lay one clutch a year? If she lays this spring how many days till they hatch once she starts to set? Any info would be great. Thanks

I tried them and they did not survive our winter.

Mine laid poorly and never showed any interest in being broody. The one egg I did manage to hatch, I put under my 'scovie duck. They need very good protection from the wind & weather. They cannot fly. I've been tempted to get them again but don't want to risk it until I have a very good coop to put them in.
