I need to put down a chick.. just hatched out bad Its been about three days and it seems to have a problem with its neck can get off its back need to know how to put it down

I had a chick that couldnt get up i waited a few days and it was right side up. Cant help you though.

Three days. Has it been drinking and eating? Pooping? If no, then it is best to be put down.

That is what I thought but he has been holding on.. now I think he will just starve ti death, but that seems so wrong to just lets him suffer and I don't want to put it in with the other chicks for fear they will just peck at him so I still have it in the bator...

I know many people on here use scissors on the chicks neck area for instant painless death, But I have never done it before and Im not an expert.

I don't know if I can do it! I wish my husband was home... He is deployed right now... He always does the dirty work that I have trouble with...This just sucks
