need information about meat chickens

I would like to know what breed will do well in Florence, Az. Must be good laying, easy temperment, and give good meat.

If you go to the state thread, something like "where am I, where are you?" you can look up Az and see what breeds the people in your area are talking about. I haven't been there in a while so I don't know how active that section is.
