I have 2 baby chickens that hatched yesterday. Both are so matted down they cant move their wings. What should I do? Also I saw one move and a bunch of yellow substance came out from the back side of it. Any ideas??

Did you try to wipe the yellow stuff off? It's not the yolk sac is it ?Are they any better ? I used a q-tip and some warm water and wiped down my chick and that seemed to work pretty well . Please update with pics !

I didnt get a chance to take any pictures. The chick that had the yellow liquid oozing out didnt make it. The other chick i was able to take a warm paper towel to it to get its wings loosened up so it could move around. That chick is doing good.
