Hi Everyone

I am from Stratford Ontario Canada

I am a duck enthusiast, looking to connect with fellow duck lovers.
I currently have a trio of Welsh Harlequins and a pair of Buff Orpingtons
They are one year olds and 2 of the females are sitting on nests :)

I have so much to learn ...but it is exciting.
My goal is to raise and thereby promote the heritage breeds......and letting them hatch and raise their own..no incubator yet..

I've never raised ducks, but they look like a lot of fun. The duck forum is a busy place so the links @Mountain Peeps has given you is definitely something you'll want to check out.

OOOHHHH very cool....I will try to find it...

Sorry for the delayed reply...I got my first ever "Smart" phone (apparently smarter than I am)
and I can't quite get the hang of navigating the web on it :(
I finally got a chance to sit down with my laptop and discovered I had replies to my introduction!!

This all so exciting!!
I belonged to another poultry group...posted a couple questions a couple weeks ago and sadly got no response what so ever :(
So encouraging to see the welcoming reception from this group already !!

I appologise again for my slow reply time.....I have been trying to use my new phone for online and apparently not very good at it...I didn't know I had all these emails to look at till I got fustrated with the phone and logged in on my lap top,,,,,
I will be checking in more frequently now lol

Yes ducks are so much fun.......messy ...but fun
