Need more chickens

    Hi everyone! I live in Texas and I'm wanting to add to my flock. Can anyone tell me where I can get some hens that shoud be ready to start laying. I really don't want to raise baby chicks if I don't have to. I have checked with feed stores and they only have baby chicks.

    have you tried Craig's list? I've seen some on there for sale.

    Yes I agree Craigslist is a good place to find Chickens or any livestock you may want, I just saw a post from someone in Cleburne, Tx that has 10 Welsummer Laying hens and 3 roosters for sale plus throw in 3 free hens. Thats about 40 miles from you.
