Well. Yesterday I sexed my Toulouse gosling. Who is almost 1 month old, and it is a BOY! I was hoping for a girl, but oh well. Now I need to think of a name.

Does anybody have any name suggestions?

How about Harold? You could call him Harry.

I am not good at giving names - I do it one bird at t atime so most of mine don't have names yet.

Alfred, Lord Tennyson (sorta sounds like Toulose)
Sir Alexander

Dunno why I think 'A' names (Alexandria, Alli, Avi, Arthur) are cool for geese, but ducks are totally 'H' (Hillary, Harold, Hermione, etc.) or 'K' (Kelly, Krispen, Ken, Kristi) creatures. Chickens, depending on the breed, can be any letter! For instance, silkies are good 'G' (Gunther, Gudrun, Gunilla, Ginny, Gill, Griselda) birds; Rocks are 'P's (Penny, Pheobe, Peter). Etc.

What's his personality like? If he's dominant and regal, he could use something strong like Captain or Sarge.

If he is more mild mannered, some names that come to mind are Percival, Fred, Bentley(Sir Bentley), George.

I'm not entirely sure why, but these names came to mind quickly. lol

Or, you could name him for something that he does. I named my White Chinese *suspected*boy Tan Tan. It means "chit-chat" in Mandarin Chinese, because he talks, whistles and screams ALL the time!

We have one we named Peepers because he was constantly peeping when we got him.

My 11 year old son suggests Phillip.
