Need Nose/Mouth Protection/Covering for Workers. Any Suggestions

Imo disposable may be better. Having a tight face seal in the tropics may deter your workers from using then cos of heat and discomfort. Dust is the main issue so a disposable mask will be ok. Protection from gases such as ammonia takes you into respirator territory which is not realistic. Additionally, non- disposable masks are likely to be damaged by both user and heat (how frequently are your windscreen wipers in need of replacement due to perished rubber?

I'm no expert but in the dim and distant past I qualified as an occupational hygienist and I've lived (and still do) in Africa for the past 18 years, so do have a little understanding of the technical side and practical side of your issue.

All the best in whatever you decide - the most important thing is that you are being proactive in trying to protect your staff - something which is sadly lacking in our neck of the woods.

Cheers
