need pics of turkey roosting poles

My turkey likes to roost on my front porch at night, however during the day he likes to lay on the ground under our travel trailer. But here's some pics. The first one is our deck rail at 4 ft. high and he's out like a lightand the other is just a chain link fence 5 ft. high . He flys up to both of them and flys down in the morning.

As you can see he is quite comfortable and loves these 2 spots. I agree though, they will roost where they want. As for his daytime roosting, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Mine free ranges and I've never ever found him in a tree. He always lays on the ground in a cool, shady spot.

i dont have pictures yet to show but i put a round pen inside my coupe metal type with door you can put dogs or whatever in its about shoulder high with a piece of plywood ontop. I can use the pen to seperate ones if i need to or leave the door open and ducks like to go in snuggle in fresh straw while tukeys all roost ontop of the pen on the plywood. This was temp as i just wanted something up fast and had a few cages against the walls the chickens sat on. They are all in at night together and its a cinderblock floor with concrete. Right now im building nesting boxes with roost for the chickens and roost from up high to down low staggered on the other side of the coupe which will be attached with hinges so i can lift them up out of the way to clean it out as i need to. I better get back out before loss of daylight and i will need to get them in from the field into the run area i have for when im not home to watch them. Their coupe has one pophole and 2 big doors for me to work. Ill post pics when done. Turkeys chickens ducks guinnea all happy together. They all go in at dark no problem even all turkeys.

I have 2 free-ranging /no-roost turkeys too. However, their #1 choice place to roost is my front porch-so I am transitioning them to a makeshift coop in my greenhouse for nighttime roosting.
