NEED SETTING HELP!

Does anyone Know if Dark Cornish are good setters and mothers? I have 6 dc hens and i need them to set....... does anyone Know from experiance?

Yep, dark cornish are good mothers and you should expect some to become broody. keep in mind that becoming broody is an instinct, and depends on the specific line wether or not you have alot of hens willing to set.

This is a natural thing that happens when it does....good luck.....and i hope it happens for you!

my hens are not that breed but recently I had two go broody and now two more are trying to root them out of the way and sit on their eggs. I think it is contagious.
