I ordered fertilized egg 27 days ago that finally arrived. Should I try to incubate them, or are they too old? Should I give it a shot? Any chance there still might be life? Paid plenty for them, they were from France. Need advice

I say go for it, what have you got to lose? Sending lots of great incubating vibes your way!

I didn't know we could get eggs from France. Of course, maybe you are not in the USA - where are you? What kind of eggs did you get? Why did it take so long to get to you?

I have eggs in the incubator that some of are over 2 weeks old and they were shipped too. 11 out of the original 12 are developing nicely. got to be worth a shot! Best of luck!

The eggs are from the La Breese chickens from France. They were shipped from Ireland here to the USA where I am. The reason it has taken so long to get here is because the United States security is on high alert at this time. They told me it probably would take up to 6 weeks. I didn’t know this until after I paid for them. This is very disappointing for me. You have no Idea how long I’ve been trying to get these eggs.

Hatch rate does start to drop after 14 days, but set them may get a few to hatch.....good luck
