I have a lot of runner duck eggs that I’m incubating.. it’s been a 23 days on and some less then 10 days. I just heard about misting the eggs and letting them. Rest. Will my chicks survive if I haven’t done that? Plz need help and some advice on temp and humidity when on lock down

I mist and cool my incubating waterfowl eggs per @pete55's guide. I consider misting and cooling a "best practice", but you should still see ducklings hatch if other conditions have been favorable (temperature, humidity, turning, etc.).

Will you be moving the older eggs to a hatcher for the hatch? Once you do, you could begin misting and cooling the eggs that are still incubating.

Yes I’ll be putting them into another incubator. But just curious because they are full babies I don’t any complications

I mist and cool because it mimics the behavior I've observed in broody Muscovy ducks - and they know how to incubate eggs! That said, I bet there are plenty of people who don't follow the practice and also have good hatches. @pete55 explains the benefits of misting and cooling waterfowl eggs here.

Misting and cooling continues until lockdown - your older eggs are close enough to lockdown that it probably wouldn't make a difference now.

Hope you have a great hatch! Update us on how it goes. :)
