We have 17 hens all various breeds, 3 rooster, 3 guineas fowl, and 2 Rio Grande turkeys. 1 male and 1 female. Been in,one flock for over 6 months. My male turkey has been viciously attacking my dominant rooster for 2 weeks now. I have separated him from them for over a week. Every time I let him back,in he goes for the rooster. Any ideas how to stop this?? They have a big run and I let them, out quite often to free range as I have a acre of property.

Day length is starting to increase - testosterone levels are rising. The only solution is permanent separation. Later in the summer things should settle down.

Yeah I was afraid of that. He just turned 6 months old. He is about 20 pounds. My rooster is a jersey, giant about 9 pounds.
