Need some advice

My girl seemed healthy but just couldn't walk. I took a chance too and at first she didn't seem to improve but after a couple of weeks I saw some improvement. She was getting up and taking a few steps so I moved her water and food a little farther away where she would have to take a couple of steps to get to it. Afet that she kept improving so I made her a little pen so she could be out with the rest of the flock but they couldn't get to her. She steadily improved. She still has a slight limp that I don't think will ever go away but she gets around fine now. When I originally put her back into the flock they would pick on her so I would put her in the coop with the flock at night and take her out in the mornings and put her in her pen and did this for a few days then one day I just let her out and then let the rest of the flock out. They did chase her a little bit and I left the door of her pen open and when she had enough she would go into her pen.

We kept her in the house for about a week. I hand fed her and gave her vitamins but she continually got worse and and her breathing was starting to become labored and she was pecking at her own foot to the point of blood. So, we made the decision to have her put down. We did it last night. She was the last of my originals. Now I have 2. And it turns out she wasn't the one who was laying. It was my buff and we have been getting eggs sporadically all week.
