Need some clarification

We put 30 eggs in the incubat or on March 31st...turned them 4x a day kept steady temp of 100f...different sites have said to do different things...
So today should I stop turning them...increase temp...and to what...add more water...thanks

If you are incubating chicken eggs, lockdown would begin for you on Saturday April 18th (day 18) at whatever hour you set the eggs. You do not count the day you set the eggs as day 1. You start your count 24 hours after the set. Egg turning, technnically should be done an odd # of times so that the eggs are not left on the same side every night (for optimal results so sayeth the experts). It depends on what type of incubator you are using (still or forced air) as to what your temps should be (99.5 for forced air 101.5 for still taken near the top of the egg.) At lockdown, during day 18 at some point, you would stop turning and raise your humidity to at least 65%. (I use 75%). You should expect to see hatching (if everything has been optimal for them) by Tuesday the 21st.
