My first baby pass away. I thought she had splayed legs. Did everything to help from homemade splints, giving her food, water, affection every few hours. Making sure she was pooping normally, gave her save-a-chick with pre/probiotics and she still died. I know it was ftt but I'm still so sad. This is my first time raising my own flock without help from family. My grandmother recently passed and I helped her raise chickens for years, but since she's gone, I've been doing this on my own and this one really freaking hurts. I need a virtual hug. Peeps you'll be missed and you were loved so much in your short life. 😢🥺

I’m so sorry, sucky stuff happens sometimes, the first chick I ever hatched died suddenly without warning, and he seemed perfect, and I’ve had my entire flock once taken by a fox.. it’s hard but it gets better with time
Wishing you much ❤️

Thank you. I know it's the trade of the game but damn does it still stuck. Anything baby dying breaks my mommy heart.
