This is my second broody. I have one with 6 chicks that are 6 weeks old right now. This one went earlier than I wanted but I kept her on the nest for the eggs from CA. The eggs in the bator are easier to replace than the test eggs that were shipped.
My other D'Uccles' haven't pipped yet. Now, you know I'm worried when the last three started to pip on day 19, but have to remind myself that the other two didn't until day 20. This is day 20, and these eggs..most, are a bit larger than the three tiny ones that hatched.
Can't wait for pictures of all the Delawares, and I never have seen a picture of a baby Jersey.
