In the Brooder
Hello! I'm new to the group and excited to be here. I recently took in 4 juvenile chickens that were found wandering in the streets. I am in NYC where we cannot have roosters and I fear most if not all, are. I also have gotten different replies on what breed they are. I've heard RIR, New Hampshire and lastly, Productions reds. Not that it matter but I'd love to know. Also if my birds are in fact roosters, they do have a home with me for as long as I can stretch it. Ultimately, they'll need a new family. I put different color bands on the birds since they look very much alike in hopes that it will help when looking at them. I'll also try to attach as many photos as possible. I estimate them to be about 12 weeks old give or take. Thanks so much and really looking forward to your answers!
