Need some help on raising baby........Rats... **UPDATE 9/1**

That sounds like something I would do

. I had a rat that I just had to put down because she got cancer

. It was just as upsetting as losing any other animal, I just get so attached. And I'm sure you've heard a lot of negative things about having rats, I did too

. I just laughed it off. lol

Day 2 and all 5 are still doing ok.. Waiting for someone to bring home my eye dropper from store for me to do their next feeding, I can tell they are dehydrated some cuz the syringe aint working out to tell hopefully the eye dropper will work better.. Gotta start keeping kitten bottles and catac nipples on hand from now on...

Still got alll 5, Their are getting big and spoiled! all of them climb on my hand searching for treats when im changing their water or something, couple weeks ago 2 got out of their cage and was roaming around my room, tried coming to me but the cat scared em, checked a few hours later and they had went and got back in their cage on their own. Yup into an aquarium and lid they go

Time to start looking for homes for 4 of em, Like a bunch of kids getting into trouble together

All 5 are now rehomed to a girl ive known for a very long time and works at the humane society, I didnt have a big enough cage for them and they were getting way to big for the tank I had and was testing their abilities on opening the lid, 2 even managed to get out and have a run around my room for a couple of hours THEN WENT AND GOT BACK IN THE TANK ON THEIR OWN!!!

She is going to be keeping them awhile till she knows which 2 she wants to keep then going to find the rest good homes, they are still very friendly and love climbing on people.
