Need some help please

I picked up this one year old cream legbar on sunday witb 3 other hens. On the way home, I noticed a rattling sound and sneezing.
When I got home, I figured out it was this one that was making the noise.
Her comb looks good, although there are some dark spots on it. She has no nostril or eye drainage. She does not have diarrhea, although she has laying very pale. Colored poop that has a horrendous smell. She is eating good and drinking water. She does occasionally gape and shake her head.
When I look down the throat, there were no signs of gapeworms and I did not notice any smell.
She is puffed up and occasionally pants hard.
I've got her separated with an opal Legbar and the other 2 I've got in a different quarantine pen.
None of the others seemed to be shown any signs.

Pretty chicken!

She does seem to be ill. To start with, I'd put her on vitamins in her water to help her fight whatever ails her. We use Nutra-Drench or Poultry Cell every other day, alternating with probiotic water for a chick/chicken that seems weak or off a little bit. A new place has new germs that might be foreign to her, so she could be fighting something. As long as she's eating, drinking good, she may be able to get past this herself.

If it doesn't seem like she is, she might need antibiotics to get over this if it's a respiratory infection. Do you have anything there or able to order some? I'd give her a day or two on the vitamins and see if you see any improvements before turning to something medicinal.

She was making that noise and sneezing on the way home, so I believe she was ill when we picked her up.
The lady I obtained her from has been dealing with some medical issues so she hasn't been able to monitor her flocks.

I've been giving her probiotics and electrolytes since Sunday with no improvement

The opal I have her with his not showing any symptoms so I'm not 100% convinced this is a bacterial or viral infection as id think the opal by now would be showing signs as well ? Maybe I'm wrong on that.

The other thing when I looked down her throat there was clear liquidy bubbles and a piece of food. I'm wondering if she doesn't have a blockage or heart issues.

Just an update if anyone is reading. All 4 chickens ended up coughing/sneezing. The 1 that was initially sick, started dark brown w/blood diarrhea.

Decision was made to not introduce these birds to my flock and they were culled on the advice of my vet, and 1 was sent to be tested.

She was not sure what was going on either. Strong possibility of E-Coli.

I was not willing to take the risk and infect my healthy birds.

Just reinforces the necessity to quarantine ALL new birds.

Also makes me very leary to buy adult birds in the future
