Need some help with favorite hen, eyes closed while standing, very lethargic

I agree with Eggcessive's post #7, it would be a good idea to worm her and check her again for mites/lice by giving her a bath as this seems to be a reoccurring theme for anemia from what I'm reading and does fit your description.

We brought her inside last night, found her standing on the floor of the coop with her eyes closed and looking cold ( the coop is very well insulated). We have a dog kennel and brought that inside the house.
She looks a little better today, she's drinking a lot of water and just made her some mash potatoes and put 2 garlic cloves in the water (smells pretty good). She loves mash potatoes.
She finally laid down last night to sleep. But today she is still just standing around with her eyes closed.
I will check her again for mites/lice on her. I always use DE inside the coop, need to add more wood shavings.
I have finally seen her poop and it is watery, some white and yellow color to it and one with a little green solid in it but a lot of water, probably cause she isn't eating much.

Started her on Duramycin-10 in her water, it's the only antibiotic the feed store around here had. Anyone know anything about it and if it might help and the garlic too?

Your chicken sounds a lot like she has coccidiosis. I think I would treat her with Corid liquid 2 tsp(or powder 1 tsp) per gallon of water for 5-7 days. Give vitamins after treatment. You can always resume the Duramycin after the Corid if she has not responded.

I've tried everywhere around up here and no one sells Corid liquid.

She does have a very large lump on her throat, about a quarter way down from her head, far from her crop. She pulls away every time I try to feel it but it feels hard. There is no blood in her poop, it's just runny (watery).

Corid is a cattle medicine, so most feed stores will have it. It won't be in the chickens aisle. Tractor Supply and Southern States sells it here.

I am going to have to say a worming is in order, a gentle worming!

The greying comb and shriveling wattles does not bode well though. The greying/bluing is usually a sign of organ failure, heart isn't pumping oxygen well.

I'd isolate, bring her in, put her in a dog/cat carrier cage. Feed her high protein foods, vitamin enriched water... put Nutri Poultry drench in her water, as well as get some in her beak ASAP. Ivermectin horse paste for worms... give a pea sized amount in her beak. In 10 days, follow up with a different wormer. You might also consider a rickets diet for chickens along with her regular feed.

Update: Her comb is looking more normal color, her poop is still runny with dark green small solids in it. She seems a little more coherent and looking around more. and she is trying to eat!!!

The problem now is that when she leans over to eat some water falls out of her mouth and after she gets some food she tilts her head back trying to swallow like she does for water.

She has been in the house now for 2 days in a dog kennel, she was sleeping next to her water dish last night almost like she was guarding it, but still standing and closing her eyes.

I'm worried that the lump on her neck is making it hard for her to eat/drink, but at least her comb has more normal color to it and she is trying to eat.

Could it be a tumor on her neck?

Depending on where the lump is, it could be Trichomonas

I'll try the olive oil see if that works. I tried to feel it yesterday and she pulled away from me like it was hurting her. I'll also see about getting a picture of her so you can see what I'm talking about. I'll also try to look down her throat, need help for that.
Their water is inside the coop and their run is fenced so nothing can get in with them, I only use a pair of boots when I go inside the run or coop that are kept in a container when not using them, so I couldn't of tracked anything inside there with them either.
She does look more lively today at least and is getting some food down and the comb is looking more normal.

I have an update, Sarah my favorite hen died yesterday.

She was doing well after I tried the olive oil, she was walking around the dog kennel and "talking" she only did that when she was happy, she also was eating more. Then 2 days later she was back to the way she was when I brought her inside. later that night she wasn't moving or eating/drinking. I checked on her in the morning and she hadn't moved all night and her head was on the ground and she was laying on her side, she died a few hours later.
I don't know what was wrong with her, she had stopped laying last year but still ate and drank fine.

It seems like I have read a lot of posts with about the same problem, the hens just stand in one place with their eyes closed, getting thin, not eating/drinking, no medication seems to help. She was only 2 1/2 years old.
