We got three hens (I think
) from someone out our way...
They were a cross, from her americauna rooster, with harco, red star, and/OR cuckoo maran hens??
I am trying to figure out what crosses they are - if you are up to helping me as I have NO clue
They are quite a few weeks older (I can post some newer picks later if necessary)
There are two like this - only one has green legs and is quite a bit smaller than the other. This is the larger one. Now that they are older the difference is size is apparent. This one particularly, has black speckling on the end of the feathers on the back of her neck
.
This one is so beautiful now...these pics do my girls NO justice! The feathers look like a peacock with beautiful blues, greens and purples in her feathers. She has black legs.
All three also have the tuft of puffy hair around their necks/cheeks too.
Thanks for your time!
PS Are either of these buggers boys?? They are all about 13 weeks now so if you need more pics let me know (I only have dial up at home so I have to post at work) aaahhh rural living.
