Need some help with what to feed my 2 month old chicks.

I have been giving my chicks medicated started from day one and was wondering when i should start the grower? Can I mix it with the starter? I read that starter has a lot of protein and chicks shouldn't eat it past 8 weeks or they may start to lay to early. I'm a first time chickie momma and I want everyone happy and healthy.

I keep mine on starter all the way to laying. I have never had one lay unexpectedly early.

I think you're ok keeping them on starter but at 8 weeks switching to a grower should be ok as well.

I feed a 20% Flock Raiser from hatch to harvest.
Just provide Oyster Shell in a separate feeder for the actively laying birds.
