Hey everyone! So my Pekin ducks are now huge and very independent, and ready to be set free back into the real world. They never imprinted on me or anything like that, so I know they'll be alright (I hope )... Does anyone know the best way or place to do that? Would a pond with no ducks be best or with ducks or a friend with a pond, I'm new to duck raising and need suggestions!! Let me know! (And I attached some pictures of them, their names are Joey, Ross, and Chandler:))

Your ducks are very cute and you have clearly taken good care of them. I am sure you have heard the term "sitting duck", that is what domestic ducks, like Pekins, are. They have been bred to remain in captivity, not be set free. They cannot fly, they do not have talons, and and do not have a sharp beak. In short, it would be very hard for them to survive in the wild on their own. They are beautiful ducks, it would be sad to release them and then find out they didn't make it. If you cannot keep them, you can give them to someone who can care for them. There is a forum on this site where you can list them.

@AddieD97 Please the friend with a pond. They will still have a struggle to stay alive if not secured at night but hopefully your friend will fall in love with them and want to care for them like they should be cared for.
Please don't go dumping them at some place where they WILL not make it. Someone said domestic ducks are food on legs and they are exactly right.

I found a home for them where there's shelter, food, a nice pond, and a few other ducks! Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated :)
