they make euthanasia sound so fancy but all it is most of the time is a over dose of a sleeping aid

Well as long as its humane, then I guess I can try it
if you have cold feet you can always wait their is no rush. But it is easier to cull a chick when they are small. if you want i have some links to websites for spraddle leg but normally if the problem hasn't fixed it self in a matter of days or a week or 2 it's not going to. If the chick is still eating and isn't showing pain when it is picked up you can try to grow it till adulthood but i wouldn't recommend it. As it will most likely be at the bottom of the pecking order and wouldn't be able to defend it-self in a predator attack.

I guess these are the three I will be rehoming. Our POA has granted accommodations under the ADA for me to keep my therapy chickens. Their stipulations are that I can only have 3 (they are on a power trip) 3 or 6 what does it matter. And when I am not with them they must stay in their chicken yard. They aren't going to like that either. They are use to free ranging 3 fenced acres.
On the bright side we won't be going to court.

yeah I dont think there is saving it, but I cant brake its neck or anything of the sort

Ok everybody hear me out before u jump. Not trying to be disrespectful at all but why not just use a cleaver and stump. I have culled many chicks over the years and TO ME it would be harder to watch the chick suffocate and twitch for a min or so as the link says then for it to be over instantly.

because I can't do that physically or emotionally.

yeah but the twitching is the last reaction the body has. and she can't do that to begin with it's why i'm walking her though it in the first place. i really only save the chamber for situations like the kitten a years back anyway and believe me it is very fast.
