Welcome to BYC!

Definitely post this question in our emergency section. When you introduce new birds to a flock, you need to quarantine new birds in case they do have diseases. You don't want to endanger your present flock. There is also a pecking order within a flock and you can't throw new birds into a flock without a long introduction.

The proper way to introduce new birds is to keep the new bird in a cage or fenced off area but within the flock at all times. Keep the new birds this way for 3 to 4 weeks. Everybody sees, nobody touches. After a month of being separated, you can mix the new birds with the flock. It should go fairly smooth. Watch them all that day and the rest of that week and always intervene if it turns bloody.

Good luck with your new bird and I hope she is going to be ok.
