OK, I have eggs that need to go in the incubator this weekend, or they will be too old - however, I have another set shipping to me, that won't be here probably until next week. I planned on everyone going into the great incubator all at once, but the seller shipped way too late for me to be able to put them in at the same time. Question is, can I put in the later eggs and hope for the best? Most likely I already know the answer, but anyone with some experience may be able to offer some better and more experienced insight on it. Thanks.

Unless you have a second incubator, set up and ready for the first batch to hatch in---no, you shouldn't mix them. Remember lockdown?

Not only lockdown, but the bacteria growth from the hatched chicks could infect the unhatched one. It could work, but I wouldn't chance it.

OR,
if you have some extra wire mesh around, you could cage off the eggs you set later. That way the other chicks can't touch them while hatching. After the first hatch, put the younger eggs wrapped in a towel and put in a cooler with a bottle or jar of warm water while you clean it quick.
