Need temperature advice from a chicken pro for my odd situation (PICS)

Mine have been outside for 2 weeks now. They are fine and they have feathers so they don't need the heat lamp now. Just leave them some hay or something to sleep on if you are worried.

That is a darling coop you have there. The chicks should be fine with those temps. Just check your forecast before you leave so there won't be an unexpected cold spell. Can you run an extension cord to the coop if needed?

Not sure this is a good idea, very easy for them to get a toe nail hook in the wool. These will be well feather birds. Not little kitten or puppies that would roll up in a wool sweater.

Straw or wood shaving better, remember no one will be their if they get hung up,or get under the sweater.

4.5 week old chicks in Central Fl in mid April will do fine with no heat necessary.

I live in Tampa Bay just put my 4 weeks old bantams outdoors, no more heat.

They free range all the day, for night go into a wire cage with a roof.

I do not bother with chicken coops here. All my birds sleep locked up in appropriate sized cages with roofs, during the day run freely summer or Florida "winter".

They will be fine at that age with those temps

Out of the wind and with deep bedding, should be no problems!
