We have called all the calves of our cow Nutmeg ( she is a red angus cow ) after herbs and spices, she has had basil, peppercorn, paprika, and peppermint, she is due with another one soon

I like the spices idea too!

...but I tend not to name my chicks/chickens, just the color of their foot bands, b/c everytime I do, I get too attached & they get taken by a fox
