Need tips on staircase ideas for elevated coop

I have a bad knee and really liked the concrete steps we bought to use with the cabin where we spent last summer. They felt really firm and stable to me.

Why are you opposed to using a pressure treated wood ramp with cleats? It is very difficult for chickens to use ladders. If you don't want to use a ramp, you can build up steps out of cinder block as has been suggested or use stone.

It sounds like this is for humans? I don’t think you’ll find many owners needing a stairway for their coops, they’d likely just use a simple wood staircase or cinder block.

They’re a lot of $ but you could try one of those metal staircases used on portable buildings, trailers, RVs, etc. I’d imagine one of those would last many years outdoors.

They come in various sizes with different heights and widths. Just add a handrail.
