That other guy
In the Brooder
Hey everyone!
Going to be getting chicks thursday, and am looking to build a run for the chickens so that they can move around on those snowy days/bad weather days, and will be free ranging around the yard the other days. The goal is to build a decent run while not going too expensive.
We have a coop that is 10 feet x 10 feet and about 8-10 feet tall. It's got two windows, a main doorway that is solid wood, screen door that can be closed behind it, and a little chicken escape hatch (XD) that allows the chickens to get out other than the main doorway.
We live in Missouri, so any thoughts or comments so I can give you more info would be appreciated.
Our chick brood will consist of:
15 Delaware chicks
5 Black Australorp
5 Royal Purple Guinea fowl
5 Cinnamon Queen
We are also looking to build a second coop so they wont be as cramped.
