Great idea with the linoleum there Bleenie, outstanding! Here's what I managed to make in 5hrs today.

Still needs a better roof and a large screen window so they can see out, but it's much larger than what they were in, and brighter. There's another window on the other end. Thanks again.

Nice job Farmer John, I'm sure you're muscovies will be happy in there.

I kept three of them in a dog kennel once, just for the night, and they where happy with it. Just try to make the floor as easy to clean as possible. and paint the inside walls from the bottom to about halfway up, to protect the wood against the droppings. Muscovies are very messy ducks.

I think that will be just great for them! they are messy but thankfully not as messy as most other ducks, that's why I only have Muscovies now, lol. that and they are much better forragers and feed costs are lower with just them. If you paint, make sure the paint is a gloss finish so it's easy to wipe down.

Are you going to add nesting boxes inside or let them brood outside?
