Need to cull our roosters

The time has come to cull our roosters. Unfortunately, we are not experienced or set up for processing the birds ourselves. Can anyone recommend a processor or even a private farm that can help us? We don't plan on raising meat birds, so these are all the "oops" birds from our hen flock. I really don't want to "butcher" the butchering process. LOL

So many ways you could go about this. My first call would be to your county extension agent and chat with them. You’d be surprised what they may be able to find out.

Or you might want to call your county health department and see if anyone is licensed to butcher in your area. That may or may not work.

Chat with the people at the feed store, especially a manager. It’s possible they will have an idea.
