Need to help if halfway out?

I have a chick that just zipped and hatched halfway out of the egg but now seems like it can't get the rest of it's body out. how long should i let it try before i have to help?

That's according to if you are a hands-on-hatcher or a hands-off-hatcher. If you know what needs to be done to be a hands on hatcher and you have that info and it is right----then you can probably go in and help now. If you are a hands-off-hatcher like me----I just tell them through the glass to hang on---I will open the incubator and help after I feel all that are going to hatch---have hatched---it works for me because I have a real good hatch rate, BUT It takes having everything else right too----to make a great hatch.
