Need to know if possible....

I have 5 6 1/2 week old chickens. I have 2 that I think are cockerels. Being new to chickens this is a guess based on what I have read and what I have observed in their behavior. One is a EE and the other is a Polish/Silkie. Any educated guesses would be great. I’m super attached and I’m hoping for 1 roo.

So, let me ask your opinion. Would you keep the EE roo or the Polish/Silkie roo? Their are 2 Polish/Silkie hens and 1 EE hen. I’m so attached to the EE roo. I hatched him and have hand raised him. I purchased the P/S but he’s super laid back and sweet.

If you’re allowed to have cockerels/cocks keep both and see who behaves better towards you and the pullets/hens. The Easter Egger cockerel may turn out to be human aggressive as he was hand raised.
Go with the Polish x Silkie cockerel.

Yes, both cockerels...I agree with BrahmaChicken5000 - hang on to both for a few months and see what their personalities develop into. Hopefully they stay sweet...but...their cocky hormones might take over... It'll be worth the wait to find out!

To those who answered, what about the EE makes you think cockerel? Is it the comb size, redness, feather coloring, or what?
