My husband and I are going to try chickens for the first time. We plan to do some for eating and some for laying. I have noticed in my reading, that the meat birds arent supposed to roam as much as the others. Do we do separate living spaces? So the meat birds stay more in one area whilst the others have more room to roam? I didnt see a post that already discussed this, and I did find the "search" feature of this site - if I have overlooked it please re-direct me.
