I have 2 adult chickens one is a hen that just started laying eggs 4 days ago and one is a rooster. I purchased 15 babies and they are now 9 weeks old. I want to put all of the chickens together in the same coop. I know that they have to be introduced for a while first but after that can they be put together? How long do I have to wait? I don't want the rooster to hurt the young ones. Thanks for any help you can give me.

It's safest to wait til they are all about the same size. It is the hens who are most likely to harm the chicks. A good method is to let them live side by side for a few weeks with a fence between them before integrating, so they get familiar with each other.
