I am going through a separation and have to re-home my hens. I had tried to find a temporary solution but the housing that I had them in is inadequate to move with them. It breaks my heart to let them go, but it's in their best interest. I'm located in Dayton, Ohio They hens lay brown eggs, green eggs, blue eggs and chocolate eggs. They are all young birds, 16 are under a year old. The older two hens are Sussex and are laying regularly still. If you are interested or would like to see pictures please respond to this message. I can also text pictures. I would love to continue raising them, but unless I found someone who has housing in place I can't.
Thanks in advance.

I live in West Tn and would love to help but Dayton OH would be way to far to travel. Have you tried listing them on Craig's list ? I check them out almost daily for just this sort of thing. We'll good luck and sorry to hear about the separation . Hope it all works out.

I am sad to know you have to give your hens away. I live in CA, so I can't take them.
Good luck....

I live close to Dayton and I have been looking for a few extra pullets to add to my flock. Could you post pictures? And I have a few questions.

What breeds do you have?

Are you willing to separate them or would I have to take all 18?

How old are the younger hens?

Thanks!

All but two of the hens are spring/summer birds, they have all gone through a recent molt (one is just finishing up her Molt). Most are EE, two are BCM, two are speckled Sussex, two are RIR and two are olive Eggers. I would prefer they stay together if possible.

I understand Karenjo, I wish I could have been of help to you as
I would have given them TLC...God be with you...++
if there are typos it's yahoo not me.
