Due to a job loss, we need to move out of our home and into an apartment. I've never given up a pet before and am devastated. I'm hoping to get some advice about how to do what is best for them. They've been together for about 3 years and get along well.
Betty, the black girl, has a damaged eye from a bee sting but is healthy otherwise. Hilda, the black and white one, gets poopy-butt so she needs to be cleaned up every once in a while. Stella, the white girl, gets leg mites so I try to give all of them leg soaks and apply Aqua-phor every month or so.
I've contacted the local 4-H club and they told me there aren't any active chicken raising kids in the area. Thank you for any suggestions or advice on how to best re-home my girls.
